I can draw more "seriously", but sticking to simple drawings forces me to focus on letting the satire, paneling, colors, and humor grab people's attention.
The simplistic style is part of the joke. There's humor in silly stick figures.
I like them.
It's that simple.
Whoops. This can happen.
I'm not here to laugh at people, but with them. If one of my comics stings, take a step back and consider what's really being satirized. Most of the time, it's not about you personally, but rather about some problematic ideas. If you happen to agree with those problematic ideas... well, you're meant to be offended.
Keep in mind I also mock my own traits and opinions. If you're going to dish it out, you should be able to take it too. It's important to know how to laugh at yourself.
If my comics really do offend you, remember that nobody's forcing you to keep reading them.
Hi, I'm Bad.
Yeah, that's why it's called the Bad Website.
I'm just a french guy who likes to draw silly things.
You don't need to know more than that about me.
Of course! Art is meant to be shared, screw people and corporations who think otherwise.
You can share my comics, use my characters, steal my jokes, and best of all, you don't even need to ask for permission. I'd appreciate if you could keep the signature / website name on any images you modify.
The only restriction is that you can't use them in commercial projects without my explicit permission. Revenue generated using The Bad Website's content without discussing it with me first may result in legal action.
You can follow thebad.website on several social media platforms: click here for a list of platforms.
I don't do any promotion or marketing, so following, liking, sharing my content does a lot to help me.
Sure, you can chat with me on Discord.
Talk to you soon!
For now, the answer is no. There's no merch available for purchase.
But who knows what might happen in the future...
Yep, it's all hand crafted.
The website's source code is publicly available, as I believe everything should be open sourced.

Because this is a simple website full of silly pastel drawings, and nothing more.
