Things stop being funny once everybody does them
[black]
Everybody poops and it's still a funny topic
Everyone's aware of 9/11 and it's still hilarious
[red]
Girls don't poop
And last I heard 9/11 was cgi done by US government who nuked the place instead
Perfect crime: nobody expects fallout when you say a bunch of innocent planes did it
[black]
I also don't expect a video game franchise when terrorism
But that might just be me
[red]
Game franchise? Heard it's a TV show
You ok old man?
[black]
Sorry (real)
Look at this guy (me) who still thinks smugideologyman is a subreddit and not a multi platform media franchise about to burst into Hollywood
What a loser (me)
[red]
That's a big assumption you're making here
"About to burst into Hollywood" is an overstatement, the trailer looked too camp to be good
Good actors saving a mediocre show happens only once in a decade, and this decade we already had One Piece
Wanted to add Stranger Things to the list but season 1 plot was at least cool
In fact villain reveals seem to be a crap thing in general, in Stranger Thing's case it's the villain's russians who were there only as a diversion
[black]
I mean yea I'm ok with the subsequent seasons
Except the weird cyberpunk plot when Eleven does a fugue or whatever I don't fully remember
Texas sized ten four something eleven
[red]
Oh right she went away with her punk group for a bit
I think I read somewhere the writers said the whole punk retreat was a mistake
Writers or showrunners or actors
Someone in the Stranger Things inner circle
[black]
The Stranger Things Inner Circle
So basically STIC men
So smugideologyman
[red]
STIC were like "we were too childish, time to show our punk side fuck yeah"
Basically that but more villanous
OK I can't stop hating on the Tesla Cybertruck
