Liberals are people who believe they belong to the political left, yet only support moderate reforms to the existing system rather than advocating for radical systemic change. While they may champion social justice, civil rights, and environmental protections, they often refuse to dismantle the structures that cause the very issues they are fighting against.

When looking at the bigger picture, liberals can sometimes be hard to distinguish from their opponents on the right side of the political spectrum. Throughout history, liberals have often made the questionable choice to support the fascist far-right instead of any other option to their left. This is why they are a recurring subject of satire.
